BW Campgrounds Terms and Conditions
Please Note We Have Changed Some Of Our Liquor Rules This Year:
BW and Rhythm and Vines have a great relationship with the Gisborne community and local Police, which is why we can provide you with the ultimate New Years experience, chilling out with your mates while listening to some sweet tunes and enjoying a cold beer in the Gissy sun.
To ensure we can continue to offer you this experience, and to ensure we don't see the kind of total liquor bans that are currently sweeping across the nation, hit your (and our) favourite New Years destination, we have been required to change some of our rules around alcohol.
We are also doing this to ensure you can get the most out of your experience: Partying, dancing and catching up with old mates while making a few new ones, instead of spending your time in the detox tents or getting in to trouble for being to intoxicated.
So drink responsibly, have fun, respect your fellow festival goers and most important of all, have great time!
New Liquor Rules:
No drinking paraphernalia eg funnels or othersuch items are allowed
No "Pure Spirits"
No Scrumpy Hands
Enforcement of Liquor Rules:
Any violation of these rules will lead to an automatic ejection from Rhythm and Vines and/or the BW grounds.
Conditions of Purchase
The purpose of these conditions in this document is to ensure your satisfaction and understanding of your purchase of a ticket from BW Campgrounds Ltd. This includes stating our policies and guidelines of your attendance at the event that ensure the safety, well being, and rights of not just yourself, but that of BW, all other customers and staff. All conditions listed are to be read together with all other statements or directives either listed on our website or displayed at the venue. BW Camp Grounds Ltd is a Registered Trademark and cannot be used without the prior written consent of the BW.
Service Fee
Tickets purchased individually are subject to charge of $5.00 per ticket eg when purchasing BW or R&V only. Combo tickets are subject to a charge of $9.00 per combo.
Currency
All ticket prices are stated in New Zealand Dollars.
Name changes
Up untill the 30th November a $25 fee applies to name changes per ticket. BW + R&V = 2 tickets. All name changes can be done online, through your BW account.
From the 1st Dec - 23rd Dec the change of Name fees will be $40 for a single ticket. ie Combo tickets will be $80.
From the 24th December you can only process name changes at the gate and NOT on line.
Name changes will be permitted at $50 per ticket on arrival. ie $100 for combo tickets

Package tickets - R&V portion

Of the $295 package $185 is the R&V portion.
Of the $319 package $194 is the R&V portion.
Of the $345 package $210 is the R&V portion.
Of the $359 package $209 is the R&V portion.
We sell tickets on behalf of Rhythm and Vines Ltd. Any claims or complaints are the responsibility of Rhythm and Vines not us.
It is your responsibility to ensure that you are familiar with Rhythm and Vines terms and conditions.
The rhythm and Vines ticket is the license granted to you to attend the event. Your contractual relationship is therefore with the Rhythm and Vines terms of attendance at the event.
BW acts only as agent for R&V, selling tickets on behalf. Any disputes regarding R&V tickets should be taken up with R&V directly at info@rhythmandvines.co.nz
All members of your group must agree to the camp rules before making payment. BW Campgrounds reserves the right to remove any persons that it feels has broken any of the camp rules. We look forward to your visit and wish you an enjoyable stay.
CAMP RULES
No Glass! Any site or person caught with glass containers will face instant eviction without any refund. If management allow your stay to continue you will forfeit your alcohol in its glass container. As part of our lease of the land we cannot permit glass onto the property. The dangers of broken glass on grass is obvious!!
We reserve the right to search luggage and vehicles for alcohol/glass bottles / containers.
Like R&V, BW CAMPGROUNDS is R18. Any persons under this age cannot camp with us. You need ID upon check-in.
We have security on site 24/7. Trouble makers will be dealt with swiftly!!
There are to be no visitors to your tent site, other then those staying in the camp. If you are meeting, do so outside the camp.
All cars are to be parked outside the camping area. A car park is available for unlimited parking for your whole stay and will be under security surveillance. There is no fee for parking.
No fires will be permitted in the camp. This includes any open flame torches.
BBQs are not permitted!! This is a requirement of our consent process as they propose a fire risk with so many closely confined tents. Sorry!!
Wristbands will be issued at check-in. These must be worn at all times and your receipt kept as proof of stay. These are not to be transferred. Lost or damaged ones will be replaced at our discretion. You will need proof of your purchase along with the broken wristband for replacement.
Fire evacuation plans will be posted on the camp notice board, kitchen block wall and toilet wall. We recommend that you observe the procedures outlined upon your arrival.
Tubs will be provided for the washing of clothes. Clothes are not to be washed in the sinks inside the kitchen.
There are two areas on the town beach that are patrolled by life-guards. One is in front of the C-View restaurant adjacent to the camp ground and the other at the northern end of the beach. We recommend that if you wish to swim at the beach you do so inside the patrolled areas.
BW has the right to change any details of the line-up, venue, and amenities at any times
Upon booking you give consent to being filmed at BW and this footage being used for promotional purposes for BW.
Band Camp is situated directly adjacent to the Poverty Bay Golf Course. If you are staying in Band Camp it is at your own risk and although all reasonable care will be taken, both BW Campgrounds and Poverty Bay Golf Club accept no liability for any injury or damage that may result to campers and their property and that if you do suffer injury and damage then you agree that you will not issue or instigate court proceedings or other legal remedies to recover compensation for injury or damage or both
Re-Sale of Tickets or Seeking Commercial Gain
No ticket shall be resold or offered for resale at a premium over the face value of the ticket, including through the use of online auction sites. Unlawful resale of tickets (or attempt) is grounds for seizure and cancellation without compensation. A ticket shall not be used for advertising, promotions, contests, sweepstakes, or enhance the demand for other goods or services, unless formal written authorization is given by BW.
Pricing and Other Errors
If the amount you pay for a ticket is incorrect regardless of whether it was an error in a price posted or otherwise communicated to you, BW maintains the right to cancel that ticket and refund to you the amount that you paid. This will apply regardless of whether it was a human error or any system malfunction.
Lost or stolen tickets
Once purchased, you are responsible for the security of your ticket. BW will take measures, including matching name ID, to attempt to verify the correct owner of the ticket, however can not be held responsible for the theft, duplication or misuse of your ticket.
Reschedule or change of venue
In the unlikely event that BW decides it must reschedule and/or change the venue, you will be notified by the email used to book your tickets. All tickets will be valid for the new dates and/or venue with no entitlement to a refund. BW will not be responsible for losses (monetary or otherwise) due to the changes or because you failed to receive the notification of the change.
Performing Acts
The ticket is for BW Camping, not for any specific act or acts. BW reserves the right to withdraw, replace or substitute artists, or amend the programme at any time without notice. No refund will be owed if an act is changed or cancelled. This includes, but not limited to, the length of their performance, attendance by specific artists in the band, or performance schedule.
Limitation of Liability
BW and the owners of the Venues shall not be held liable for any loss, injury or damages sustained entering or within the Venue whether caused by the negligence of BW or that owners or otherwise.
Personal Security
If you feel at any time you're or anyone else's health or safety is threatened, you should contact the nearest security guard. There are qualified first aid staff on site at all times who can be contacted by security.
Personal Property and Private Vehicles
We take our security very seriously and any suspicious persons will be dealt with quickly. Secure storage will be available. Please make use of these facilities. BW takes no responsibility for any loss theft or damage and we advise that you think carefully about what you leave unattended. Common sense prevails!!
Emergency Procedures
In the case of an emergency evacuation or situation, you must follow all official directives.
Privacy Policy
BW collects and uses contact and financial information ("Personal Information") to: ensure that the tickets are delivered to you; to advise you of any possible changes/cancellations that may occur in relation to the event; and/or to confirm the identity of customers. Unless you advise otherwise we may disclose your contact details to third parties so they can provide you with promotional material about other events and products, also with purchase you consent to BW sharing your information with third parties necessary to processing your transaction and receiving emails from BW informing you to additions to the line-up, promotional offers and/or news and information about the upcoming event. With each email you will be granted the option to unsubscribe if you no longer wish to receive these emails.
